Arrow Electronics, a provider of technology solutions for manufacturers and service providers, has opened a new Engineering Solutions Center (ESC) in Bengaluru, India. The facility is intended to support technology manufacturers across India, Southeast Asia, South Korea, and Japan by providing engineering resources for sectors including industrial, automotive, transportation, energy management, and aerospace and defence.

The ESC is designed to assist regional companies in adopting technologies such as edge computing, industrial automation, intelligent sensing, and e-mobility. It will offer support across the product development lifecycle through a team of application engineers specializing in embedded software, wireless connectivity, power, analog technologies, and interconnect, passive, and electromechanical (IP&E) components.

“Innovators across the region often face challenges in adopting advanced electronic components and software technologies due to limited in-house engineering capabilities for rapid product development. By leveraging our global network of resources, deep engineering expertise, and strong local presence, Arrow aims to bridge the gap between innovation and execution,” said Raphael Salmi, president of Arrow Electronics’ components business for South Asia, Korea, and Japan.

The center’s capabilities include component engineering, system-level design reviews, bill-of-materials optimization, and the provision of reference design solutions. It also offers technical training, regional market expertise, ready-to-use software, component samples, and supply chain services.

Arrow Electronics is a global technology solutions provider for manufacturers and service providers. In 2024, the company reported worldwide sales of USD 28 billion.
