ELDIS Pardubice, s.r.o. has completed a factory acceptance test (FAT) for the delivery of 20 radars to India, confirming the systems’ readiness for operational deployment. The deliveries, scheduled to continue through 2026, include 11 combined primary/secondary radars (PSR/MSSR) and nine secondary radars (MSSR) as part of India’s Vision 2040 aviation programme.
The first three radar installations are planned later this year at Jewar, New Mumbai, and Varanasi airports, with the remaining systems to follow over the next two years. Some radars will replace older systems, while the majority will be installed at new airports, including Navi Mumbai International Airport.
In May 2024, ELDIS Pardubice received the order for these 20 radars, marking an expansion of its presence in India. After completion of all installations, almost 60 ELDIS radars will be operational in the country.
The company works with local subcontractors to meet partial production localisation requirements for Indian orders. ELDIS is cooperating with Indian companies, such as Mahindra Telephonics, on ongoing orders for combined radars for the Indian Navy.
ELDIS Pardubice, s.r.o. is part of the CSG Aerospace Group and manufactures radar systems for civil and military aviation. The company has been operating in India through local partnerships to support installation, maintenance, and production compliance.
