PTC Industries Limited and Kineco Aerospace & Defence have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly develop and manufacture value-added aerospace components and structural assemblies. The collaboration combines PTC’s high-integrity castings and work with titanium and superalloys with Kineco’s lightweight composite structures for aerospace and defence applications.
The scope of the collaboration includes co-development of hybrid aero structures combining composites and metallics, localisation of critical and flight-critical components, joint participation in global Requests for Quotations (RFQs) for civil and defence programmes, and advanced R&D and technology transfer in partnership with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and other stakeholders.
“Together, PTC and Kineco will be able to offer integrated solutions across metallics and composites addressing critical needs of Indian and global OEMs. Both companies share a common vision: building an Atmanirbhar Bharat through high-precision engineering,” said Sachin Agarwal, Chairman and Managing Director of PTC Industries.
“This partnership is a perfect blend of material innovation and manufacturing excellence. It paves the way for India to become a serious player in the global aerospace supply chain – not just in assemblies, but in core technologies and materials,” said Shekhar Sardessai, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Kineco Group.
PTC Industries has manufactured precision metal components for critical applications for over six decades. Through its wholly owned subsidiary Aerolloy Technologies Limited, the company produces titanium and superalloy castings for aerospace and defence customers in India and overseas.
The company is investing in a new 50-acre manufacturing site in the Lucknow node of the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor. Plans include a vertically integrated plant with a titanium and superalloy mill to produce aerospace-grade ingots, billets, bars, plates and sheets.
