TVS Motor Company announced the roll-out of the 200,000th unit produced under its partnership with BMW Motorrad and the start of manufacturing for the BMW F 450 GS at its Hosur plant on 27 November 2025. The milestone reflects more than a decade of co-development activity in the sub-500cc and adjacent segments and expands the collaborative product pipeline for global markets.
The partnership between the two companies began in 2013 and has since generated multiple models, including the BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS and G 310 RR, which are supplied to more than 100 markets. Executives from both companies were present at the Hosur facility to mark the production start of the F 450 GS and the 200,000th unit roll-out.

The Hosur plant serves as the manufacturing hub for the jointly developed G 310 series as well as the newly added F 450 GS. The companies indicated that ongoing investments in shared platforms, technologies and research and development will continue to support future product introductions.
TVS Motor Company is a manufacturer of two- and three-wheelers with operations in India and Indonesia. BMW Motorrad is the motorcycle division of BMW and supplies products in the premium motorcycle segment.
