Mistral Solutions, a subsidiary of Bengaluru-based Axiscades Technologies, has secured pilot contracts with two international hyperscaler customers. The contracts involve the development of production line testing equipment for global contract manufacturers of one hyperscaler and the creation of development test apparatus for audio products for the other.
The initial estimated value of the pilot programme is around USD 1 million. According to details disclosed by the company, the design and development phase of the contracts is expected to take between six and eighteen months.
“One of our main goals at ESAI is to ascend the value chain by transitioning towards design-to-build contracts, which feature annuity revenue. We are pleased to share that we have secured a couple of small pilot contracts aligned with this strategic direction,” said Anurag Sharma, President of the ESAI division at Axiscades.
To support the new business, Axiscades is investing in infrastructure in Bengaluru, including an acoustic laboratory and a 3D printed PCB prototype facility. The company is also establishing a front-end engineering team in the United States.
