Nissei Plastic Industrial Co., Ltd., a Japan-based manufacturer of injection moulding machines, has selected a property in the Sanand Industrial Estate, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, for its planned India factory. The decision was approved at a Board of Directors meeting on 5 September 2025 following negotiations that began earlier this year.
The selected site covers 35,000 square metres of land with existing factory buildings offering a total floor area of 11,835.46 square metres. The company has earmarked an investment of 1.5 billion yen for the project.
The facility is planned to produce 30 electric moulding machines per month, with an annual output of 360 units. Nissei stated that it is proceeding with procedures for the sale and purchase of the site and buildings and will provide further updates when available.
