Rehm Thermal Systems, a Germany-based manufacturer of thermal system solutions for the electronics industry, has opened a new facility in Bengaluru as part of its ongoing global expansion.
The new site, known as Rehm India, includes sales, service, a spare parts warehouse, and an applications centre. It follows the company’s first service location established in India in 2022 and marks a transition to a full-scale local operation.
The applications centre allows customers to test electronic modules and processes—such as vacuum, condensation, and convection soldering—using Rehm’s advanced equipment and supported by technical experts. The facility is designed to help customers evaluate production techniques, optimise parameters, and accelerate product development within India’s expanding electronics manufacturing ecosystem.
The Bengaluru facility is intended to improve customer support and response times, provide on-site technical consultation, and strengthen the company’s engagement with India’s growing electronics manufacturing sector. The expansion also aligns with Rehm’s strategy to enhance proximity to customers and support long-term growth in the region.
