Dynamatic Technologies Limited has commenced serial production of the rear fuselage assembly line for the 40-seater D328eco turboprop aircraft at its aerospace manufacturing facility in Bengaluru. The production marks a transition from the design phase to manufacturing under a partnership with Germany-based Deutsche Aircraft.
This assembly line is part of a strategic agreement between the two companies that began in 2024 and was reaffirmed at Aero India 2025. The fuselage structure manufactured at the Bangalore site will be supplied for Deutsche Aircraft’s regional aviation programme.
Tobias Gotthardt, State Secretary of the Bavarian State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, inaugurated the facility. Also present at the event were Nico Neumann, Co-CEO of Deutsche Aircraft, and Udayant Malhoutra, CEO and Managing Director of Dynamatic Technologies.
Neumann stated, “Our partnership with Dynamatic Technologies fortifies the global supply chain and underscores our commitment to sustainable aviation. This collaboration, supports the efficient regional transport system under the Udaan scheme, is a testament to Bavaria’s role in driving aerospace innovation and fostering international cooperation.”
Malhoutra commented, “We are honoured to build this critical structure for the D328eco here in Bangalore. This assembly line is a testament to the ‘Make in India’ initiative, our deep capabilities in aerospace and our commitment to supporting green aviation goals globally.”
According to the companies, the project supports the expansion of aerospace manufacturing capacity in India and aims to enhance international collaboration in aircraft production, involving technology transfer and skilled employment.
The D328eco programme is focused on regional aviation and is being developed by Deutsche Aircraft, which also holds the type certificate and support responsibilities for the legacy D328 aircraft.
