Continental Industry India has inaugurated a new office in Bengaluru, consolidating teams across technology, digital transformation, and business functions to enhance collaboration and operational efficiency.
In November 2022, Continental opened a one million square foot campus for its Technical Center India (TCI) in Bengaluru’s Electronic City Phase II, accommodating over 6,500 employees. This facility focuses on automotive research and development, featuring advanced software, hardware, and vehicle test facilities. The campus has received Platinum Certification from the India Green Building Council for its sustainable design, including green spaces, renewable energy sources, and rainwater harvesting systems.
In February 2024, Continental Automotive India announced plans to expand manufacturing capacities for airbag control units, telematics control units, and tire pressure monitoring system sensors at its Bengaluru and Manesar plants. The company aims for a 12% year-on-year growth in 2024, driven by increased demand for automotive safety and connectivity solutions.
