Qlar has inaugurated a new test center for milling and grinding in Bengaluru. The facility is now operational, following an opening event attended by the company’s global management team.
The launch included a tour of the facility led by Indraganti S S Ramachandra Rao, Head of R&D and Engineering Mills. CEO Jörg Ulrich participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony as part of the event.
The new center is expected to support Qlar’s operations in milling and grinding, though further details on its capacity or investment were not disclosed. The facility aims to enhance the company’s research and development capabilities in these areas.
As part of its expansion in milling and grinding, Qlar has also introduced a new Pulverizer Test Facility at the Bangalore location. The 325-square-meter space is adjacent to the company’s manufacturing site and is equipped with Advanced Vertical Roller Mills (AVRM), Rotary Roller Mills (RRM), and digital monitoring tools such as the CONiQ Monitor. The facility is designed to conduct performance testing under real-world conditions, allowing engineers to refine milling solutions based on data-driven insights.
