NMTronics India Private Limited, a supplier of surface mount technology (SMT) equipment and automation solutions, inaugurated its new campus in Bangalore on 27 October 2025. The facility is designed to strengthen the company’s presence in southern India and enhance collaboration with its partners in the electronics manufacturing sector.

During the event, NMTronics’ Founder, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Soni Singh outlined the company’s plans to expand its role in India’s electronics manufacturing ecosystem, emphasising its commitment to advancing domestic manufacturing capabilities and promoting innovation through technology.

Heller Industries Chief Executive Officer Dave Heller, who participated in the event, stated that his company is investing in ramping up production capacity in India as part of its collaboration with NMTronics. He said the initiative underscores Heller Industries’ commitment to the country’s growing electronics and semiconductor sectors.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner of Industrial Development, Government of Karnataka, along with several industry representatives and partner firms. The event featured presentations and demonstrations from NMTronics’ international partners, including Fuji Corporation, Heller Industries, Koh Young Technology Inc., Comet Yxlon, and Vision Engineering Ltd.

Founded in 1999, NMTronics India Private Limited distributes and services SMT and solar manufacturing equipment, holding about 40 percent and 30 percent market shares respectively in India. The company is the exclusive distributor of Fuji Corporation’s SMT machines in India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. Its product portfolio includes pick-and-place machines, paste printers, 3D inspection systems, reflow ovens, and solar module manufacturing equipment.

The company derives about 87 percent of its revenue from machine and spare parts sales, supplemented by engineering, installation, and maintenance services. NMTronics operates a nationwide service network and maintains engineering facilities for equipment integration. It also manufactures selected automation products locally through its NMT Automation unit.

In addition, NMTronics has partnered with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur to establish the NMTronics Center of Excellence for Electronics Manufacturing and Skills Development, which focuses on research, technological advancement, and skill enhancement in the electronics manufacturing sector.

The company is headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and operates multiple regional offices and service centres across India.
