Heat and Control, an engineering and manufacturing company, has commenced construction on a new manufacturing facility in Chennai, India, with a groundbreaking ceremony held on 3rd February 2025. The facility, located in Mahindra World City near the company’s existing manufacturing unit, is expected to be completed by late 2025.
The new facility is intended to increase production capacity and support business operations in India and South Asia. According to Manoj Paul, General Manager for Heat and Control South-East Asia, the expansion will enhance productivity and strengthen the company’s competitive position.
Heat and Control, established in 1950, operates twelve manufacturing, warehouse, and associated facilities, along with 10 test centres and over 30 offices globally. The company provides testing, design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, training, spare parts, and after-sales service, specializing in integrated solutions for food processing and packaging systems.
