Bosch Home Comfort Group has completed its acquisition of Johnson Controls’ residential and light commercial HVAC business, including the Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning joint venture. The company described the deal as the largest acquisition in the history of its Home Comfort division.

Following the integration, Bosch Home Comfort Group has expanded its global manufacturing footprint to 33 sites and its development locations to 26. The company stated that this growth will support operational integration and improve efficiency across its development, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality functions.

Birte Lübbert, Chief Operating Officer and member of the Global Executive Board of Bosch Home Comfort Group, said her focus will be on ensuring seamless integration and optimizing the expanded value chain.

Bosch Home Comfort Group, a division of the Bosch Group, develops and manufactures heating, cooling, and indoor climate systems for residential and commercial use. Its product portfolio includes air conditioners, heat pumps, and smart climate control technologies.
