Promac Engineering Industries Ltd has signed a technical collaboration agreement with Taiyo Machinery Co., Ltd. of Japan for the manufacture and supply of foundry equipment. The agreement marks Promac’s entry into a new business vertical.
The signing took place at Promac’s Bengaluru office between Jayaram Reddy, Chairman and Managing Director of Promac Engineering, and Kenzo Watanabe, Chief Executive Officer of Taiyo Machinery.
Promac Engineering Industries Ltd, established in 1972 and based in Bengaluru, is an engineering, procurement, and construction company specialising in heavy engineering process plants and bulk material handling systems. Its operations primarily cater to the cement, power, steel, and mineral processing industries. The company runs a manufacturing facility of more than 50,000 square metres in Bengaluru and functions as a public unlisted firm with its business headquarters and registered office in Karnataka.
The company is led by Jayaram Surendra Reddy, who serves as Chairman and Managing Director. Other members of the board include Sujatha Srikumar, Carlton Gerard Pereira, Shashank Govindraj, Surendra Jayaram Reddy, and Vinatha Madhusudan Reddy.
