Mariplast Spa, an Italy-based manufacturer of products for the textile industry, has established a new production facility in Verna, Goa, as part of its international expansion. The plant will manufacture yarn carriers for the textile industry, aimed at supplying the Indian textile sector.
The facility is intended to increase production capacity and reduce logistics and import costs while enabling faster delivery to local customers. The move will enable Mariplast to provide customised solutions for spinning and dyeing mills in India.
Mariplast Spa, headquartered in Italy, manufactures a broad range of patented and standardized yarn carriers, available in different materials like polypropylene, PP+glass fiber blends, and polycarbonate—depending on specific customer needs and dyeing temperatures.
Their dye tubes, cones, and other supports cater to diverse yarn types, including cotton, polyester, and blended yarns, with special formulations to withstand industrial dyeing processes up to high temperatures. These products contribute to improved productivity, dyeing uniformity, and operational efficiency in textile mills.
