Italian manufacturing company Marposs has inaugurated a new Tech Center in Peenya, Bengaluru, spanning 400 square meters. This facility includes offices and a tech center where customers can access the company’s advanced technologies, with the capability to develop customized solutions tailored to the local market.
The center aims to enhance support across various sectors, including consumer electronics, electric vehicles (EV), biomedical, aerospace, and energy. It will focus on research and development activities related to semiconductors and consumer electronics, leak tests on batteries, and quality control technologies for aerospace components.
Marposs India operates with a branch office in Delhi, additional offices and service centers in Gurgaon, and a presence in six other cities: Manesar, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Jamshedpur, Pune, and Bengaluru. The company employs 120 individuals and reports a turnover of approximately 20 million euros. Its primary business sectors include automotive, accounting for about 50% of the turnover, with the remaining half divided between mechanical components and machine tool applications.
The inauguration event was attended by several representatives of Indian and Italian institutions, including the Consul General of Italy in Bengaluru, Alfonso Tagliaferri, and the Executive Director of Marposs India, Luca Matteucci.
