Aequs Limited has formally conferred the title of co-founder on its Managing Director Rajeev Kaul, following a decision by the company’s Board of Directors on 10 January 2026. The recognition relates to Kaul’s role in the establishment and development of the company’s manufacturing operations since their inception.

“Rajeev has been a constant partner in building Aequs Limited, leading from the ground, navigating every operational challenge, and enabling the company’s long-term vision. Aequs Limited would not be what it is today without his contribution. It is my privilege to recognise him as the co-founder of Aequs Limited,” said Aravind Melligeri, Founder and Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aequs Limited.

According to a press release issued by Aequs Limited, the board approved the recognition in acknowledgement of Kaul’s foundational contributions to the company’s growth and evolution after the commencement of manufacturing activities. The company said the decision reflects his involvement in building its integrated manufacturing platforms and supporting its long-term operational strategy.

The company said Kaul worked on the development of India’s first integrated aerospace manufacturing ecosystem and contributed to the establishment of the Koppal Toy Cluster. It also said he anchored the development of the consumer ecosystem at the Hubballi Durable Goods Cluster, including Aequs’ entry into the consumer electronics segment.

Kaul also serves on the boards of the company’s joint ventures and has been involved in the expansion of its manufacturing ecosystems serving multiple sectors. These ecosystems are designed to support the production of complex components for original equipment manufacturers.

Aequs Limited is an engineering-led, vertically integrated precision component manufacturer with capabilities across the aerospace and consumer segments. The company operates manufacturing units across three continents to supply global original equipment manufacturer customers.
