Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited (SWREL) has received a letter of intent for a balance of system engineering, procurement and construction package for a 300 MW AC (420 MWp DC) solar photovoltaic project in Rajasthan. The order, placed by a private independent power producer, is valued at approximately INR 415 crore, inclusive of operations and maintenance and taxes.

The scope of work also includes the development of a 220/33 kV pooling substation.
