Hical Technologies Private Limited has signed a long-term contract with Dassault Aviation to manufacture and supply high-precision control system assemblies for the Rafale fighter aircraft. The agreement was signed on 10 March 2026 in Bengaluru and covers the production of mission-critical electromechanical assemblies used in the aircraft’s control systems.

Under the agreement, Hical Technologies will manufacture assemblies that must meet Dassault Aviation’s engineering, qualification and reliability standards. The components form part of Rafale control systems and are required to comply with strict aerospace manufacturing specifications.

The contract represents a step in the integration of Indian manufacturers into international aerospace supply chains, particularly in precision engineering and high-value component production. The companies said the partnership strengthens industrial collaboration between India and France in aerospace and defence manufacturing.

“Hical Technologies has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality and reliability,” said Bruno Coiffier, senior executive vice-president for procurement and purchasing at Dassault Aviation. He added that the partnership reflects the company’s approach of working with suppliers capable of meeting strict quality and reliability requirements.

“Being entrusted with critical products for the Rafale fighter aircraft reflects the progress of Indian aerospace manufacturing,” said Yashas Jaiveer, managing director of Hical Technologies. He said the agreement reflects the company’s investments in engineering and precision manufacturing capabilities.

The Rafale fighter jet is designed and produced by Dassault Aviation and is operated by several air forces, including the Indian Air Force. The aircraft uses integrated control systems that rely on specialised electromechanical assemblies designed to meet operational reliability and safety requirements.

Hical Technologies manufactures high-precision electromechanical systems and supplies components to aerospace and defence original equipment manufacturers. The Bengaluru-based company focuses on precision engineering and the production of specialised assemblies for global aerospace and defence programmes.
