Hinduja Tech, a mobility-focused engineering and R&D subsidiary of Ashok Leyland, has acquired TECOSIM Group, a European company specializing in virtual validation and body engineering. The acquisition is part of Hinduja Tech’s strategy to enhance its service offerings and strengthen its presence in the European market.
TECOSIM employs over 650 professionals across the UK, Germany, Romania, Japan, and India, focusing on reducing the reliance on physical prototypes through advanced virtual validation techniques. The company’s expertise is expected to complement Hinduja Tech’s existing capabilities in emerging mobility trends such as electrification and digitalization.
The acquisition is expected to broaden its service portfolio and improve operational efficiency. CEO Kumar Prabhas highlighted the compatibility of TECOSIM’s skills with Hinduja Tech’s goals, describing the move as an opportunity to enhance the range of solutions provided to global clients.
Udo Jankowski, Managing Director of TECOSIM Group, stated that the collaboration would combine TECOSIM’s technical expertise with Hinduja Tech’s industry reach, enabling the delivery of innovative solutions to the mobility sector.
This acquisition also strengthens Hinduja Tech’s position in Europe, aligning with its focus on addressing industry demands for sustainable and advanced engineering practices.
