Alan Scott Automation and Robotics has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Navi Mumbai, according to an update issued by the company. The facility will support the company’s ongoing operations in the automation and robotics sector, with a focus on solutions for the edible oil and dairy industries.
The company has also announced the shipment of its first export unit to Sri Lanka. The unit is currently undergoing testing.
One of the company’s key products, the Auto Collar Machine, is designed for edible oil tin packing. To date, the company has installed 32 units of this machine across India. The product reportedly reduces packing material usage and is estimated to provide a payback period of 24 months.
The announcement aligns with the company’s focus on research-driven initiatives and manufacturing operations under the “Make in India” initiative.
