Premium Oilfield Technologies recently highlighted developments at its wholly owned manufacturing facility in Pune, India, as the site prepares for an API 6A license audit. The facility, originally established in 2020, spans over 28,000 square feet, including both enclosed and outdoor storage areas.

Equipped with advanced machinery, robotic welding capabilities, and hydrostatic test bays, the Pune facility supports the production of expendables, shaker screens, gate valves, and gate valve components. These products are distributed globally as part of the company’s operations.

Laura Weiss, Vice President of Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental, Social, and Governance, shared updates following a visit to the site. Weiss noted the progress being made at the facility and its role in supporting the company’s manufacturing and operational goals.

The establishment of the Pune facility reflects Premium Oilfield Technologies’ strategy to enhance its production capacity and expand its market reach. Further updates regarding the API 6A licensing process are anticipated in the near future.

Founded in 2003, Premium Oilfield Technologies initially focused on supplying mud pump expendables directly to drilling rigs in West and South Texas. Over two decades, the company has expanded its operations, now serving over 80% of active rigs in U.S. shale plays and maintaining a presence in Canada, Mexico, Dubai, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and India.
