TKIL Industries announced that its Pimpri manufacturing plant has been awarded a five-star grading in the Occupational Health and Safety Audit conducted by the British Safety Council. The plant, which produces equipment for industries including mining, cement, power generation, and sugar, underwent a comprehensive evaluation of its health and safety systems.

The audit assessed the plant’s occupational health and safety policies, processes, and practices against key performance indicators. It included a review of documentation, interviews with management and employees, and sampling of operational activities. The five-star grading indicates that the facility meets best-practice standards in health and safety management.

Mike Robinson, CEO of the British Safety Council, described the grading as “reflective of a proactive organization committed to continual improvement in health and safety arrangements.”

Abhay Ghirnikar, director of manufacturing at TKIL Industries, emphasized the company’s focus on employee safety and the importance of maintaining high standards in health and safety practices. He credited the workforce and management for their contributions to achieving the recognition.

TKIL Industries has recently expanded its business into the green hydrogen sector, further diversifying its operations. The company integrates advanced systems like SAP ERP into its manufacturing processes, supporting its efforts to maintain efficiency and productivity.

The recognition highlights the company’s ongoing efforts to align its operations with global safety standards.
