Piovan India, a provider of automation systems, is in the final stages of completing its new facility in Pune. The upcoming facility is positioned as a new base for Piovan India, which has been engaged in expanding its presence in the country.
In 2024, the group acquired an additional 1% equity in Nu-Vu Conair Private Ltd., raising its total stake to 51%. The acquisition aims to consolidate its position in India and increase market penetration in sectors such as packaging, automotive, and construction. The move also supports PiovanGroup’s efforts to align with India’s new plastic recycling regulations by applying its technologies in polymer processing and industrial automation.
Nu-Vu Conair, based in the Ahmedabad region, was founded in 2005 and became a joint venture with the Conair Group in 2007. Following PiovanGroup’s acquisition of IPEG in 2022, Conair became part of the group. Nu-Vu Conair currently employs around 250 people, reports over EUR 20 million in annual sales, and operates a 150,000-square-foot manufacturing plant, which is being expanded by another 80,000 square feet.
PiovanGroup provides automation systems for the storage, conveying, and processing of polymers, food, and industrial cooling systems. The group operates in various markets, offering localized production and support in regions including India.
