ideaForge Technology Limited, a designer and manufacturer of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), has secured an order worth approximately INR 1.37 billion (all-inclusive) from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of Mini UAVs and associated accessories. The delivery is expected to be completed within 12 months.

The Indian Army placed the order through the emergency procurement route, covering hybrid Mini UAV systems and accessories. As per the contract, all critical sub-components must be sourced from non-border-sharing nations, with a strong emphasis on indigenous design and manufacturing.

The Mini UAV systems from ideaForge are already in operational use by the Indian Army for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The contract was awarded following a rigorous evaluation process that assessed performance, security, and supply chain integrity. Technical committees verified the origin of the components and embedded security features before certifying the systems as ‘Fit for Indian Military Use’ by the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA).

ideaForge Technology Limited designs and manufactures unmanned aerial systems primarily for defence, homeland security, and industrial applications. The company focuses on developing UAVs suited for tactical operations and high-security environments, emphasizing indigenous production and supply chain security.
