Schaeffler India has announced the fourth edition of its Social Innovator Fellowship Program, which will provide financial and mentorship support to ten young innovators developing scalable solutions to environmental and social challenges. Each selected fellow will receive a grant of INR 175,000 and take part in a 24-week hybrid mentorship program delivered in collaboration with IIMA Ventures.

The initiative is part of Schaeffler India’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, HOPE. It is open to applicants aged 18 to 35 from across India, including individuals, teams, institutions, and both for-profit and non-profit organizations. Eligible projects should address issues such as environmental sustainability, renewable energy, carbon neutrality, circular economy, natural resource management, or the application of technology in the social sector. Applicants must present a working prototype and a clear plan for scalability, sustainability, and commercial viability.

Applications will be assessed through a multi-stage process comprising telephonic and virtual interviews, followed by a final pitch presentation. The jury will include members of Schaeffler India’s leadership team and experts from India Accelerator.

“This program enables individuals to address social and environmental issues through innovative approaches,” said Shibi Mathew, Head of HR and CSR at Schaeffler India.

Managing Director and CEO Harsha Kadam added that initiatives like HOPE aim to support young innovators working on technology-based solutions for social and environmental impact.

Applications will remain open from July 30 to August 30, 2025.
