Uhlmann Pac-Systeme inaugurated its new office on October 16, 2024, at Plot PAP S-49, Savardari, Chakan MIDC Phase II, Pune, Maharashtra. The new facility is part of the company’s continued expansion in India, aiming to strengthen its operations in the region.
The event was attended by key figures from the pharmaceutical and packaging industries, including Sundeep Bambolkar, Joint Managing Director at Indoco Remedies Ltd.; Anil Arora, President of Global Manufacturing Operations at Granules India Limited; and Satish Agrawal, President of Technical & Operations at Ajanta Pharma Ltd. Also present were Richard Clemens, Managing Director of the Food Processing and Packaging Machinery Association (VDMA), and Michael Mrachacz, Chief Sales Officer and Managing Director at Uhlmann Pac-Systeme, alongside other partners and industry representatives.
The inauguration marks Uhlmann’s increased focus on the Indian market, with the new office expected to enhance the company’s operational capacity and foster collaboration with local industry partners.
According to a press release from Uhlmann, the new facility will serve as a base for the company’s continued growth and its commitment to innovation within the packaging sector.
