Symbiosis Skills & Professional University (SSPU), Pune, and Heinrich-Hertz-Schule Karlsruhe, a vocational school based in Germany, have signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to collaborate on vocational and technical education. The agreement outlines collaborations in technical and vocational training, and empowering students and teachers through joint initiatives and cross-cultural learning experiences.
The partnership was conceptualized during a March 2025 visit to India by a German delegation commissioned by the Kultusministerium Baden-Württemberg. The visit was coordinated by the Zentrum für Schulqualität und Lehrerbildung (ZSL), an organization focused on school quality and teacher training in Germany.
Heinrich-Hertz-Schule Karlsruhe is a vocational school in Germany offering technical education in engineering and applied sciences. Symbiosis Skills & Professional University in Pune is a skill development university in India focused on practical, industry-oriented education across multiple sectors.
