Compaero India Pvt. Ltd. has inaugurated a new facility in Kochi, Kerala, for the design and development, sourcing, assembly, and sale of connector accessories and components for aerospace and other industrial applications. The opening was led by the company’s director Robert Small on 22 September 2025.
The expansion follows earlier discussions held in 2024 during a visit by Michael Freed, President of Isodyne Inc., and Robert Small, President of Compaero, Inc., to the India operations. The visit included reviews of existing facilities, plans for growth, and meetings with suppliers and customers in India as part of efforts to enhance business partnerships.
Compaero develops and manufactures connector accessories for the aerospace and defence industry. Since 1989, the company has provided components designed to meet industry standards. Its operations combine Compaero USA’s machining capabilities with Compaero India’s manufacturing expertise to supply products across various markets.
Compaero’s headquarters in North Carolina occupies a 24,900 sq ft facility equipped with machine tools and assembly equipment. The company holds AS9100 and ISO 9001 certifications to support quality assurance and performance standards. Manufacturing capabilities are also maintained at Compaero India, enabling process-driven operations across both locations.
Compaero India Private Limited, founded in 2017 and based in Kochi, India, focuses on the design, production, and testing of interconnect products for harsh environments. Its portfolio includes QPL Qualified Backshells intended for military, aerospace, and industrial applications. Products undergo quality engineering and testing before being supplied internationally, and several have been incorporated into defence programmes.
The company maintains a system for calculating component costs, lead times, and production status, providing transparency for customers. Compaero India states that its approach combines manufacturing expertise with technology-driven processes to support operational efficiency.
