TRUMPF India, a manufacturer of sheet metal processing equipment and laser technology, has dispatched the first TruBend Series 1000 hydraulic press brake manufactured at its new facility in Pune. The machine is designed for sheet metal fabrication, offering high-precision bending for both conventional and complex profiles across varying sheet thicknesses.
The TruBend Series 1000 features a proprietary TRUMPF control system supporting both numerical and graphical programming. It includes an automatic tool clamp for quick changes and a 4-axis backgauge for precise sheet positioning and reproducibility. The machine is equipped with TRUMPF safety systems, such as BendGuard Basic, and remote service capability to maintain machine availability.
Two pre-configured variants are available: the Classic model, which includes universal bending and QuickClamp, and the Comfort model, featuring a hydraulic clamp and CNC crowning for versatile use. All models are designed for high-mix, medium-volume production environments.
Applications for the TruBend Series 1000 include bending long profiles and components with complex bends, handling varying sheet thicknesses, and meeting high-precision requirements in metal forming shops. The machine is intended for both entry-level and experienced operators.
Additional features include fast setup and tool changes supported by lightweight bending tools, compatibility with TRUMPF’s TecZone Bend software for programming and NC generation, and solutions optimised for zinc-plated sheet to reduce cold-welding.
The TruBend Series 1000 offers a cost-effective and reliable option for workshops expanding their metalworking capacity or entering the TRUMPF bending ecosystem.
