NTF Group has opened a new manufacturing facility, Unit–11, in Bengaluru as part of its expansion in South India. The facility marks the group’s continued growth in engineering plastics and advanced composites for automotive applications and adds to its network of units across Karnataka, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
The Bengaluru unit will focus on lightweight composite products, including honeycomb structures and sunshade systems, aimed at supplying major automotive original-equipment manufacturers. The expansion aligns with the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in southern India, following the establishment of its regional subsidiary, NTF South India Private Limited, in 2021.
According to the company’s latest financial disclosures, NTF reported consolidated operating income of approximately INR 10.05 billion in FY 2024–25, reflecting stable demand from automotive customers. The company has undertaken debt-funded investments in recent years to build incremental manufacturing capacities, and the addition of the Bengaluru unit forms part of this broader capacity expansion.
ICRA has noted that NTF continues to incur costs related to the stabilisation of new manufacturing capacities. These investments are aimed at supporting demand for lightweight materials in the automotive sector, an area in which NTF has expanded its product range through its advanced composites and engineering plastics division.
NTF Group supplies components primarily to major automotive original-equipment manufacturers, with Maruti Suzuki accounting for a significant share of its business. Credit-rating disclosures indicate that Maruti Suzuki contributes around 80 percent of the group’s consolidated revenues, reflecting a high degree of customer concentration. The company also supplies to other established vehicle manufacturers across passenger and commercial segments, supported by its portfolio of engineering plastics and composite components.
NTF Group, founded in 1996, manufactures engineering plastic components and composite structures for automotive and related industries, supplying products such as interior and exterior parts, load-floor systems and other lightweight assemblies for major OEMs.
