Tembo Global Industries Limited said its subsidiary Tembo Classic Engineering Private Limited has entered into a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) with a public sector undertaking engaged in defence production. The agreement is intended to explore a potential business relationship focused on the indigenous development of defence products for the Government of India.

The company said in a stock exchange filing that the NDA enables discussions and exchange of information between Tembo Classic Engineering Private Limited (TCEPL) and the PSU. TCEPL, formerly known as Tembo Defence Products Private Limited, will engage with the PSU to evaluate opportunities in defence manufacturing.

The proposed collaboration is aimed at exploring opportunities in the areas of design, development, and production of indigenised engineering products. The arrangement is exploratory in nature and is intended to facilitate discussions and evaluation of potential opportunities between the parties.

The filing stated that the execution of the NDA does not constitute a binding commitment for any business transaction or partnership. It added that there is no certainty that the discussions will result in any definitive agreement or actual business relationship between the parties.

Tembo Global Industries Limited is engaged in the manufacturing of engineering and industrial products and operates through its subsidiary Tembo Classic Engineering Private Limited, which focuses on defence-related engineering activities.
