Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a manufacturer of products and systems in the power and industrial sectors, has received a Letter of Award from Adani Power Limited for the supply of equipment and supervision services for six thermal power units, each with a capacity of 800 MW. The order is valued at approximately INR 65 billion, excluding Goods and Services Tax (GST).

As part of the agreement, BHEL will supply steam turbine generators along with auxiliary equipment, and provide supervision for erection and commissioning. The project will be carried out in line with specifications provided by Adani Power.

According to BHEL, the order does not involve any related party transactions, and neither the company’s promoters nor its group entities hold any interest in Adani Power.
