Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has announced that its total operational renewable energy capacity has reached 15,539.9 megawatts (MW) as of June 2025. The company’s portfolio comprises 11,005.5 MW of solar, 1,977.8 MW of wind, and 2,556.6 MW of hybrid power capacity.

According to AGEL, the company added 3,309 MW of capacity in FY25, which it claims is the highest annual addition by any single company in India during the fiscal year. A significant portion of this expansion was driven by its Khavda renewable energy park in Kutch, Gujarat, where 5,355.9 MW has been commissioned to date. The overall development at Khavda is planned to reach 30,000 MW across 538 square kilometres.

AGEL estimates that its operational assets supply electricity to around 7.9 million households and help avoid approximately 28.6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions annually. The company has reportedly deployed around 55 million solar modules and 1,177 wind turbines and has created approximately 3,700 jobs.

Ashish Khanna, CEO of AGEL, said the milestone reflects the company’s commitment to scale renewable energy deployment. He added that the company aims to reach 50,000 MW of capacity by 2030.

AGEL stated that its entire operational portfolio is certified as water positive and free from single-use plastic and landfill waste. The company was recently ranked first in the National Stock Exchange’s ESG ratings for the power sector in India and topped the FTSE Russell ESG score for the Alternative Electricity Subsector globally.
