Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group announced the launch of a new DeepTech design, production and integration campus under its defence brand Arrobot at the Telangana government’s Hardware Park near Hyderabad International Airport on 15 December 2025. The company also unveiled six indigenous unmanned and autonomous defence systems, expanding its manufacturing and development footprint in unmanned aerial and ground platforms.

The Hyderabad facility spans 25,000 square feet and is designed to support end-to-end activities covering design, system integration, assembly and testing of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), propulsion systems and advanced defence platforms. According to a press release issued by the company, the expansion is backed by an investment of more than INR 1 billion in manufacturing infrastructure and technology development.

“This investment is about building core defence technologies in India and developing systems that can support both domestic requirements and export markets,” said Vamsi Vikas, Founder and Managing Director of Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group

Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group, a manufacturer of aero engine and missile subsystems, said the new campus, referred to as the Citadel Campus, would strengthen its ability to support Indian defence programmes and global customers through faster turnaround times and scalable production. The group operates 10 manufacturing locations across India, the United States and the United Kingdom and employs around 1,000 people.

Alongside the facility launch, the company introduced six defence systems developed in India, covering loitering munitions, decoy and target drones, tethered surveillance drones, long-endurance kamikaze UAVs, unmanned ground vehicles and robotic aircraft maintenance solutions. The platforms are intended for surveillance, strike, logistics and mission support roles, with stated operating ranges exceeding 300 kilometres and speeds of up to 650 kilometres per hour.

The company also announced four memoranda of understanding aimed at strengthening development and manufacturing capabilities. These include an agreement with the Indian Army’s 515 Army Base Workshop for co-design, testing and validation of advanced drone platforms, an MoU with Bharat Dynamics Limited for co-development and supply of 200 kilogram-force thrust-class engines for autonomous aircraft, a collaboration with the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad on artificial intelligence-based autonomy and mission systems, and a partnership with the International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials for additive manufacturing and coating technologies for aero engines.

The company is also setting up a larger manufacturing facility at Hardware Park with an investment of INR 3 billion. The proposed site will cover about 250,000 square feet across three buildings on eight acres and is expected to be inaugurated by November 2026, with employment potential for more than 2,000 people over three years.

Founded in 2002, Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group designs and manufactures precision engineering components and subsystems for aerospace and defence applications, supplying global original equipment manufacturers as well as Indian defence and space agencies.
