AXISCADES Technologies Limited has secured a production order for supplying avionics hardware for the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Mk1A programme. The order will be executed through its subsidiary, Mistral Solutions Private Limited, and relates to aircraft being manufactured under the programme of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL).

The order is valued at approximately INR 800 million and has been received under the LCA Mk1A programme of HAL. The company stated that the contract supports the scale-up of indigenous content in avionics hardware used on the fighter aircraft.

Under the scope of the order, Mistral Solutions will supply electronic hardware for two avionics subsystems: the Mission Computer and the Smart Multifunction Display. These systems form part of the aircraft’s avionics architecture and are intended to support mission and operational functions on the LCA Mk1A platform.

AXISCADES said that manufacturing and delivery of the systems will be carried out from its Devanahalli Atmanirbhar Complex, referred to as the DAL facility. The facility is located at the Bangalore Aerospace Park near Kempegowda International Airport in Karnataka and has been recently commissioned by the company.

The company noted that the order further strengthens its working relationship with India’s defence ecosystem, including the Defence Research and Development Organisation and HAL.

“This programme win reflects the AXISCADES Group’s continued commitment to defence indigenisation and the ‘Make in India’ initiative. We believe this opportunity positions us strongly for participation in upcoming defence programmes,” said C. Manikandan, Chief Executive Officer of Mistral Solutions Private Limited.
