Aimtron Electronics Ltd., part of the Aimtron Group, has begun to expand its domestic manufacturing capacity in India following the company’s recent public listing. This move is aimed at enhancing self-reliance in electronics manufacturing and reducing dependence on overseas operations. The expansion is part of the company’s broader strategy to increase local production of high-quality electronic components.

The company has invested in manufacturing technologies, including surface-mount technology (SMT) lines with AI capabilities and automated assembly systems. These technologies are expected to boost production at Aimtron’s Indian facilities, positioning them as a key hub for the company’s global operations.

“Our goal is to ensure a significant share of our production and innovation takes place in India,” said Aimtron Group CEO Mukesh Vasani.
