JDS Group of Companies has inaugurated a new conductor division facility at Vidarbha Alloy Conductor in Borgaon. According to an announcement from the company, this expansion is aimed at enhancing manufacturing capabilities and improving operational efficiency to meet evolving market demands.

The new facility includes advanced machinery such as a 13-capstan RBD machine, two skip machines with a seven-strand capacity, a 5 MT crane, an electrical panel drive, an air compressor, and a weigh scale with a 3 MT capacity. Wire jointing equipment has also been installed to further support production processes.

In addition to the machinery upgrades, the company has made significant improvements to its fabrication department. These include facilities for power transformer fabrication, the establishment of a raw material yard for MS components, the installation of an additional 5 MT crane, and the addition of a painting booth and tank testing equipment.

The infrastructure at the site has also been expanded with the construction of a new shed area measuring 48 by 40 meters. This upgrade provides additional space for production activities and supports the company’s plans for operational growth.

The company stated that these enhancements are part of its strategy to strengthen its position in the market and better serve its customers through improved production capabilities. The company supplies conductors to over 500 industries and serves both national and international markets. Its products are utilized by turnkey contractors and electricity boards, reflecting its broad client base and diverse applications in the energy sector.
