Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited has entered into a Global Supply & Services Agreement with Trinity Rail Group LLC. The agreement focuses on the design, development, and supply of rolling stock and components for Indian and international markets, including North America.

Under the agreement, Texmaco will supply rolling stock components, including foundry products, for North America and other regions. Trinity will provide technology solutions and training to support the development of next-generation freight railcars.

A Global Capability Centre (GCC) will be established in Faridabad, India, to drive innovation in rail technology. The partnership will also explore new freight car designs and business opportunities beyond India and North America.

Indrajit Mookerjee, Vice Chairman & Executive Director of Texmaco Rail & Engineering, stated that the collaboration will enhance the company’s manufacturing and export capabilities. Dan Anderson, Vice President of Corporate Strategy at Trinity Rail Group, emphasized the integration of Trinity’s technology with Texmaco’s manufacturing expertise to develop freight rail solutions.

Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited, headquartered in Kolkata, operates in freight cars, rail infrastructure, and electrical infrastructure. The company has manufacturing facilities in West Bengal, Gujarat, and Chhattisgarh. Trinity Rail Group LLC specializes in freight rail leasing and manufacturing, primarily serving the North American market.

The agreement is expected to support rail infrastructure modernization, improve freight efficiency, and expand market reach for both companies.
