Bedi Steels Limited has announced that its new rolling mill in Ludhiana, Punjab, will commence production in April 2025. The facility, built with an investment of INR 134.9 million, has an annual production capacity of 70,000 tonnes and will manufacture Round Bars, RCS/Square Bars, Hex Bars, and Flat Bars.

The company stated that the new mill is equipped with advanced metallurgical processing and automation technologies. The products from this facility will be supplied to forging companies for use in various industries.

Bedi Steels operates a manufacturing plant in Doraha Village, Ludhiana, covering 13,750 square yards. The plant includes a dedicated shed for manufacturing and storing ingots, measuring 320 by 80 square feet, and houses two 10-tonne furnaces.

The company produces steel and alloy ingots under the brand name “Bedi.” These ingots serve as raw materials for various metal products, including sheets, rods, bars, wires, and components for machinery and electronics. Bedi Steels supplies its products to forging companies in Ludhiana, Jalandhar, and Mandi Gobindgarh.
