Gulbrandsen has announced plans to expand its polyethylene wax manufacturing capacity and establish a new functional polymers plant at its facility in Dahej, India. The expansion, expected to be operational by mid-2026, aims to increase production to meet global demand and enhance supply reliability.
“This investment underscores our commitment to serving our customers worldwide,” said Ron Hatchell, Global Business Director at Gulbrandsen. “By expanding our production capacity and diversifying our product offerings, we are strengthening our ability to meet evolving customer needs and solidifying our leadership position in the industry.”
The company produces specialty polymers and waxes used in various industries, including expanded polystyrene, adhesives, inks, coatings, and personal care products. In addition to the new facility, Gulbrandsen has completed debottlenecking efforts at its existing Vadodara plant, increasing its production capacity.
The new facilities in Dahej will incorporate advanced technology and adhere to safety and environmental standards. The company issued the announcement through a press release.
