Kerakoll has inaugurated a new manufacturing facility in Jaipur with an investment of INR 2.6 billion (USD 31 million). According to a company press release, the plant has an initial annual production capacity of 150,000 tons, with provisions for future expansion to double its output.

The Jaipur facility, along with the company’s existing plant in Vadodara, is expected to support its operations in India. Kerakoll manufactures adhesives, grouts, coatings, and waterproofing solutions.

The facility integrates sustainability measures, including a 900 KVA solar installation projected to reduce carbon emissions by 1,500 tons annually. It also features a rainwater harvesting system with a capacity of 840 cubic meters per year and a green belt covering one-third of the site with 1,600 trees. The plant utilizes battery-powered forklifts and is designed to maximize natural light and cooling efficiency.

Ahzam Javed, Regional Director-Asia Pacific at Kerakoll, stated that the plant is designed to meet increasing market demand and aligns with the company’s long-term objectives in India.
