Galaxy Tooling, a manufacturer of industrial tolling solutions, has enhanced its machining capacity with a new vertical machining center (VMC) installed at its MIDC‑Bhosari facility in Pune. The machine, featuring a work envelope of 4.2 × 2.8 m, was unveiled on 18 July 2025. The inauguration was reportedly attended by Bharat Patil, Director at the National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) under India’s Ministry of Steel. This is the company’s main facility, a 5,500 sq ft plant with modern VMC systems.
Based in Pune, Maharashtra, Galaxy Tooling specializes in engineering and manufacturing sheet‑metal tooling—including tandem, transfer, and progressive dies—as well as high‑tensile parts, hemming dies, gravity and pressure die casting tools, and custom jigs and fixtures. Its offerings also cover tooling for industrial sewing, winding, turning machines, and tool‑room maintenance.
Galaxy Tooling positions itself as both a manufacturer and trader, offering end‑to‑end design and manufacturing services. The firm emphasizes quality, targets 100 percent on‑time delivery, and maintains a defect rate reportedly below 1 percent, supported by MS Project and systematic quality‑management systems.
Looking ahead, Galaxy Tooling aims to be a global provider of tooling and die solutions through continuous improvement, innovation, and a commitment to advanced manufacturing technologies.
