Renault Group has appointed Stéphane Deblaise as Chief Executive Officer for its India operations, effective September 1, 2025. In his new role, Deblaise will be responsible for defining and executing the group’s strategic direction in India and will oversee all Renault entities operating in the country.

He will report to François Provost, Chief Procurement, Partnerships and Public Affairs Officer at Renault Group.

Venkatram Mamillapalle, currently Managing Director of Renault India Pvt Ltd (RIPL), will continue to support Deblaise on corporate affairs to help develop the company’s mid-term growth strategy in the region.

Deblaise has served as CEO of Renault Korea since 2022, where he led several transformation initiatives, including repositioning the company as a development and production hub for mid- and large-sized vehicles, and modernizing the Busan plant for multi-energy vehicle production.

Renault Group stated that the appointment underscores the strategic importance of India within its global operations.

Headquartered in France, Renault Group designs, develops, and sells passenger and commercial vehicles across international markets.
