DB RRTS Operations India Private Limited, in collaboration with Würth Group, has introduced the REFILLOmat aerosol refill system at the Duhai Depot of the Namo Bharat corridor in Uttar Pradesh. The system replaces single-use aerosol cans with refillable alternatives, aimed at reducing hazardous and packaging waste while enhancing workplace safety.

According to the company, the refill system will streamline maintenance operations and contribute to the sustainability measures adopted by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC).

“The Würth ReFilloMat – making its debut in India’s rail sector – replaces single-use aerosol cans with reusable ones. The result: using fewer resources, generating less waste, and improving workplace safety – all at once,” stated Niko Warbanoff, CEO of DB E.C.O. Group.

The initiative was jointly undertaken by DB RRTS Operations India, DB International Operations, and Würth Group. It forms part of efforts to implement environmentally compatible practices in rail operations.

DB RRTS Operations India Private Limited is part of DB International Operations, which operates and maintains transport systems outside Germany. The company is engaged in providing services for India’s Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project.
