RangSons Aerospace Limited, a Mysuru-based aerospace and defence component manufacturer, inaugurated a new advanced manufacturing facility in Mysuru, Karnataka, on 29 October 2025. The new unit, located adjacent to the company’s existing plant, was inaugurated by Karnataka Minister for Large and Medium Industries M. B. Patil.

According to an official statement from the minister’s office, the facility is equipped with modern engineering laboratories and advanced production systems designed to meet international standards. Patil said the Department of Industries would extend all necessary support for the company’s aerospace initiatives and described the new plant as a reflection of Karnataka’s growing industrial capacity in the sector.

During the event, the minister also presented certificates to 60 graduates from Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) who completed skill development programmes at RangSons Aerospace. The company has reportedly absorbed nearly 70 percent of the trained candidates into its workforce. Patil said this initiative both empowered local youth and reinforced Karnataka’s position as India’s primary aerospace manufacturing hub, contributing about 65 percent of the country’s aerospace and defence output.

Boeing’s Kaushal programme provides upskilling, including to people from disadvantaged backgrounds and persons with disabilities (PWDs), bringing them into India’s mainstream aerospace and defence workforce.

In January 2024, RangSons Aerospace entered into a contract with Boeing to supply tubes and ducts for aerospace systems, marking Boeing’s first collaboration of this kind with an Indian supplier. The company’s manufacturing capabilities include critical assemblies for fluid conveyance systems—handling power fluids, lubrication, coolants, water, and oxygen—built to withstand high-pressure and vibration environments.

In March 2025, the company raised INR 3 billion (USD 36 million) in funding led by ValueQuest Investment Advisors to expand its operational capacity and pursue strategic acquisitions. Anand Rathi Advisors served as the financial advisor for the transaction.

RangSons Aerospace specialises in complex aerospace components and systems, including Satellite Communication Terminals (SATCOM) and Datalinks, and is the only Indian manufacturer with Type-Approved Airborne Heat Exchangers designed for helicopter platforms. Founded in Mysuru, the company develops and manufactures precision-engineered solutions for the aerospace, defence, and homeland security sectors.
