TIL Ltd, an Indian manufacturer of material handling and infrastructure equipment, has secured contracts valued at more than INR 2 billion for the supply of reach stackers to Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) and mission-critical cranes to the Indian armed forces. The orders span both commercial logistics and defence applications.

The company received an order worth INR 667.5 million from CONCOR for the design, manufacture, supply, and commissioning of 25 loaded reach stackers. The machines are scheduled to be delivered within 330 days and will support intermodal logistics operations across the country’s container freight network.

The company stated that it has also secured orders from the Indian Army and Indian Air Force for nearly 170 specially designed cranes engineered for military applications. The combined value of the defence orders is about INR 1.1 billion. TIL noted that these systems have been developed to operate in extreme conditions across diverse terrains and meet the requirements of the defence establishment.

“These orders validate our dual capability to serve both India’s commercial infrastructure expansion and critical defence requirements with equal engineering excellence,” said Alok Kumar Tripathi, President, TIL Ltd. “The diverse order portfolio reflects the strategic advantages of our integrated business model and positions us strongly for sustained growth across multiple sectors.”

TIL said the cranes will augment its fleet of more than 3,000 machines currently operating in India, supported by its aftermarket network serving over 200 customers. All the newly secured orders will be executed at its manufacturing facilities in Eastern India.

TIL reported revenue of INR 3.43 billion for FY25. The company stated that the recent order inflow reinforces the direction of its defence-focused business vertical established under the Gainwell Group’s ownership in January 2024.

TIL Ltd manufactures material handling, lifting, and infrastructure equipment for industrial and defence applications.
