RM Drip and Sprinklers Systems Limited approved the establishment of a new manufacturing unit in Maharashtra and a proposal to acquire Brahmanand Pipes Private Limited, as part of plans to expand production capacity and broaden its product portfolio.
The company said that the new manufacturing unit will be set up at Sinnar in Nashik district through Brahmanand Pipes Private Limited, which is proposed to become a wholly owned subsidiary. The facility is planned with an installed capacity of approximately 12,000 metric tonnes per annum and is expected to increase the company’s overall manufacturing capacity by around 50 percent.
The additional capacity is intended to support higher order inflows across irrigation, infrastructure and industrial segments. The company also stated that the expansion is expected to improve asset utilisation, operating leverage and margins, while strengthening competitiveness in government and institutional projects.
The new facility is planned to manufacture a range of products, including drip irrigation systems and equipment, high-density polyethylene pipes for water supply and irrigation projects, drainage and sewerage pipelines, telecom pipes and ducts, industrial piping solutions, mulching paper for agriculture, and specialised micro-irrigation moulded products and accessories. The company indicated that the broader product mix is aimed at addressing demand across multiple end markets.
“This capacity expansion is a pivotal milestone in RMDRIP’s growth strategy. By increasing our manufacturing capacity by nearly 50 percent, we are building the foundation for sustained revenue growth, improved margins, and stronger execution capabilities,” said Nivrutti Pandurang Kedar, Promoter and Managing Director of RM Drip and Sprinklers Systems Limited.
“The new facility allows us to address multiple high-growth sectors while improving operating leverage and long-term returns for shareholders. We remain confident about demand visibility driven by government infrastructure spending and agricultural modernization,” Kedar said.
In a separate disclosure, RM Drip and Sprinklers Systems said that its board has approved the proposed acquisition of Brahmanand Pipes Private Limited for a total cash consideration of approximately INR 1 million. On completion of the transaction, the company will hold 100 percent of the equity share capital of Brahmanand Pipes Private Limited through the acquisition of 100,000 equity shares of INR 10 each.
