VST coreB Trailers inaugurated a new trailer manufacturing plant at Bhainslana, Kotputli, Rajasthan, marking an expansion of its production footprint in India’s commercial vehicle and logistics manufacturing sector. The facility has been positioned as one of the largest dedicated trailer manufacturing plants in the country and is intended to support rising demand from domestic and export markets.
The facility spans 110 acres and has an annual production capacity of 22,000 trailer units. The manufacturing complex covers 235,000 square metres and designed to produce between 1,500 and 1,700 trailers and bus bodies per month when fully operational. The plant operates with 15 production lines and is designed to achieve a reported turnaround time of 24 minutes per trailer. The configuration is intended to support higher-volume manufacturing while maintaining uniform quality standards across product lines.
The plant has been inaugurated with company promoters and senior management in attendance, along with transport operators and representatives from original equipment manufacturers. The company stated that the scale of participation reflected engagement from across the commercial vehicle and logistics ecosystem.
The manufacturing facility is equipped with multiple advanced production systems, including coil processing lines with cut-to-length systems, continuous welding lines, and several dedicated assembly lines. The plant also includes robotic paint shops and automated fabrication processes aimed at improving production consistency and throughput.
The facility is capable of manufacturing a range of trailers and bus bodies and is aligned to meet requirements from infrastructure, logistics, and mobility sectors. It is also positioned to support exports to markets such as Australia and Africa, in line with international quality and environmental benchmarks.
In addition to manufacturing output, the plant is expected to generate employment and contribute to industrial activity in the Kotputli region. The company has stated that sustainability-oriented manufacturing practices have been incorporated into the facility’s design and operations.
