Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) has received the Bosch Innovation Award 2025 for Bosch Vivaray, a non-invasive hemoglobin monitoring device developed for rapid point-of-care use. The award was presented by Stefan Hartung, Chairman of the Board of Management, Robert Bosch GmbH, and marks the first Robert Bosch Innovation Award for the India region.

Designed for rapid point-of-care application, Bosch Vivaray enables hemoglobin screening in under 30 seconds through a simple finger placement method that is painless and non-invasive, without the need for blood draws or consumables. The device supports anemia classification and hemoglobin value prediction to enable earlier awareness and timely action. Built on artificial intelligence-based multi-wavelength spectrophotometry and supported by advanced connectivity, the handheld solution is portable and designed for ease of use, while enabling population health insights through data-driven reporting.

The Bosch Vivaray hb variant provides a classification model for overall wellness and nutritional purposes, grouping results into four categories: Normal, Mild, Moderate and Severe. The Bosch Vivaray hbpro variant is intended for use during pregnancy and for individuals with specific chronic illnesses, delivering an exact hemoglobin value to facilitate anemia management.

The system incorporates a finger-resting slot, light-based feedback and digital displays to support user interaction. It features an in-built battery and network connectivity options for data transfer to other devices. An Internet of Things-enabled remote device management function is intended to reduce device breakdowns that could delay diagnosis.

Bosch Vivaray forms part of BGSW’s healthcare technology portfolio, focused on non-invasive diagnostic devices and connected health management solutions.
